Napoleón Baca
Creator. Music Producer (Napbak, Synthness). Co-founder of Synta Studio.
I'm Napoleón Baca, a creator and music producer. I'm proud of projects like Synthness ↗, my alias Napbak ↗, and the label Vinculo Records ↗. Lately, my main focus is Synta Studio ↗, my web development studio, where I collaborate with Carlos Loggiodice on modern software and AI-driven solutions.
Key Projects
- Synta Studio ↗ My development agency. We build web apps, e-commerce, and AI agents using an 'indie hacker' philosophy: rapid iteration with a modern stack (React, Vite, Tailwind, Supabase) and AI-assisted development (Gemini/Claude), deploying on efficient platforms like Vercel and Netlify.
- Napbak (Artistic Alias) ↗ As Napbak, I explore Dark R&B, Pop, Rock, and "'sex music'," achieving +20k streams and collaborations with artists like Mangusx, Omido, and Dark Mage. It's also my service brand, where I offer music production and consulting for artists on contracts and digital distribution.
- Napbak Music (App) ↗ One of my wildest feats: I developed a web-based DAW to create music that always sounds great. It uses curated samples (from Splice and my own) and has a UX/UI inspired by FL Studio and eJay. Built with React, Zustand, Supabase, and the Web Audio API.
- Synthness ↗ My djent metal and electronic band, with influences from Meshuggah, Periphery, and an alternative touch à la Bad Omens/Linkin Park. Although on pause, it continues to generate many streams. The vocalist is Carlos Loggiodice.
- Arquiteck ↗ A productivity application designed to manage tasks and projects with ADHD in mind, focused on clarity and 'deep work'.
- Vinculo Records ↗ A project (2014-2016) that functioned as a YouTube channel. It released rock and metal music that I produced for national and international bands, driven by the reach of Synthness.
Interests and Something More
Besides producing music, coding with AI, and writing on my social media, I love my role as dad to Avril, a mega-smart kid who amazes me every day.
I'm also a fan of tarot and esoteric philosophy. Not the "new age" stuff that disassociates and turns hippie; I prefer the philosophical-academic angle that studies symbols and archetypes as an intrinsic part of the unconscious. Oh yeah, I studied psychology, maybe that's why.
I love stand-up comedy (I did it at one point in my life), sushi, cooking burgers on Sundays, and I've beaten Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3 and Final Fantasy 8 at least 5 times.
